I've heard good things about Still Alice. It's up for consideration for our bookclub this month.
You had a great week! I Was Told There'd Be Cake and I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti both look like a lot of fun. I can't wait to see what you think of Still Alice - I'm sure it'll be a tear-jerker.
I read "I was Told..." earlier this year - it's good! Some essays are far better than others, but overall it's a good read.

I read Outcasts United and I Was Told There'd Be Cake and enjoyed both of them. I Loved, I Lost, I made Spaghetti is next up on my reading rotation and it sounds great, doesn't it? And I have Unaccustomed Earth sitting here too since I have loved both of her other books. Enjoy your haul this week!
