Last week, I wrote a post about BBAW and the awards process. I am extremely happy to have been shortlisted, and I think all of the blogs that were nominated are incredible. Unfortunately, not everyone could make the shortlists; and this has really made me sad over the past few days. I know that's the reality of any awards process. I just don't like to see anyone feel less than terrific about their blog -- there are just so many incredible blogs out there! I have over 300 in my reader (and that's before I added new ones that I've discovered during this year's BBAW.) I love each and every one of these blogs for a different reason, and I think they all bring something special to the book blogosphere.Today, I want to mention a few of those blogs (that are very near and dear to my heart) that didn’t make the shortlists:
