Day 10 - The 12 Days of Christmas Cookies & Giveaway

Welcome to Day 9 of The 12 Days of Christmas Cookies! Today, Kathy has posted a recipe for Raspberry Almond Cookies, but I have something extra-special too to share -- a giveaway for some classic Christmas DVDs!

Earlier today, I posted a review for The Original Christmas Classics Limited Keepsake Edition DVD Boxed Set. This collection includes seven holiday favorites which are family classics including Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus is Comin' to Town!, The Little Drummer Boy, Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol, Cricket on the Hearth, and Frosty Returns. In addition, there is a bonus holiday music CD which includes the classic Burl Ives' songs "A Holly Jolly Christmas" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."

Needless to say, I love these movies and so do my kids. Thanks to the kind folks at The Morris + King Agency, I have a complete set of The Original Christmas Classics to share with one of you! To enter the contest, all you have to do is leave a comment telling me which one of these seven movies is your favorite. Please include a way for me to contact you! To increase your chances, you can blog and/or tweet about this giveaway with a link back to this post. This contest will be open until Tuesday, December 8th at 11:59 p.m. ET, and I will notify the winner the following day. This contest is open to those of you with U.S. and Canada mailing addresses only -- no p.o. boxes please. Good luck!

  10. What a wonderful collection to share with my grandson. My own favorite would be The Little Drummer Boy, maybe because I love that song. Dating myself here, my all-time favorite Christmas movie is The Miracle on 34th Street. Thanks for this wonderful giveaway.

  13. You say your kids love these videos - well my husband & I loved these videos BEFORE we had kids. As a matter of fact, my father videotaped "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" for my husband when we were dating because we had to go to a company Christmas party the night it was on! Obviously, that one is our favorite. We try not to miss it when it is on TV. I think we could probably recite the dialog and sing the songs of the entire show.
    Happy Holidays!

  19. Oh, oh...count me in! These are the classics that my family and I try to find during the Christmas holiday season and match up our TV viewing time to watch...but alas, we tend to miss a few! My favorite of them all is Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Rudolph is so cute with little red nose....he finds a way to fly courtesy of Clarice (may be spelled wrong)...and he has the strength to face the big scary snowman....not to mention the cast of fun characters ranging from the wanna be dentist to Santa himself! Of course the music is now playing in my mind so as I go off singing the seasonal favorite, I bid thee adieu!

    +1 - tweet tweet! (http://twitter.com/GRgenius/status/6012073933)
