The Everything Austen Challenge - Completed

I'm happy that I actually completed the Everything Austen Challenge hosted by Stephanie's Written Word, but I have to admit that I'm still a little disappointed that I didn't read any of Jane Austen's books -- only sequels and Austen-themed books. I guess that's better than nothing, right? I think that by reading these six books, however, I have caught the bug and will continue reading some more even after the challenge is over.

Here's the list of my six "Everything Austen" books. You might notice that I didn't really stick to my original six.

CONFESSIONS OF A JANE AUSTEN ADDICT by Laurie Viera Rigler

AUSTENLAND by Shannon Hale

THE TRIALS OF THE HONORABLE F. DARCY by Sara Angelini

ME AND MR. DARCY by Alexandra Potter

ACCORDING TO JANE by Marilyn Brant

LADY VERNON AND HER DAUGHTER by Jane Rubino and Caitlen Rubino-Bradway

A big thanks to Stephanie for hosting this very fun challenge!

  2. Congratulations on finishing the challenge, and enjoyed your review of Lady Vernon and her Daughter.

I still have three more books to read in the challenge, but have enjoyed reconnecting with Jane.

  4. Congrats on finishing this challenge. I will have my last review for this challenge later this week.

I liked most of the books you reviewed. I didn't read Persuasion as I expected and that's the only original I wanted to read -- mostly because I haven't read it.
