I've always thought that rictus was an ominous word, or at least, associated with unpleasant things. Given your review of this book, it sounds very appropriate!
Rictus - nice word; I wouldn't have guessed the definition by its sound. (And I love the pink of your blog - very refreshing to open up to!)
