Today, we've been asked to share what we enjoyed about 2010 BBAW and what our blogging goals are for the future.
Future Treasures
We’ve been visiting each other and getting to know each other better…now is your chance to share what you enjoyed about BBAW and also what your blogging goals are for the next year!
I doubt I'm alone when I say the best thing about BBAW is getting the chance to discover so many new book blogs and book bloggers! I'm sure most of you agree that the amount of quality book blogs out there is almost overwhelming. I have had so much fun this past week adding new blogs to my reader.
And another thing that I really appreciate is all of you! I just love finding that so book bloggers really understand me and my love of books. (You know...some of my friends who don't share my enthusiasm for books just think I'm crazy!) It's nice to know that I always hundreds of "friends" out there who are willing to discuss books around the clock.
As far as goals for my blog, I can't really say that I have specific ones in mind. Of course, I always intend to leave more and better comments on other book blogs, but I do realize that I only have so much time in the day. Still, I'll make a better attempt next year. I also intend to be a better host for my challenges. I am currently co-hosting the on-going Reagan Arthur Books Challenge with Kathy/Bermudaonion; and I will be bringing back the Shelf Discovery II Challenge shortly. I also hope to do the 2011 EW Summer Books Challenge again!
Since I clearly haven't taken the time to come up with some "real" goals, I was wondering if you have any suggestions for how I can improve my blog.
No suggestions - it's just wonderful the way it is!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jill - you are perfect the way you are. I wouldn't sweat the comments too much. You will drive yourself crazy. Just keep being you!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't come up with any goals either -- Love your blog and you don't need to change anything.
ReplyDeleteYou know I love your blog the way it is. My goal for my blog is to keep my head above water!
ReplyDeleteMay you continue reading great books and blog about those for us!
ReplyDeleteHere is my BBAW: Forgotten Treasures post!
Only so much time in a day is a struggle for me as well--couldn't we just have one or two more hours? :)
ReplyDeleteLike you, one of my favorite things are the book bloggers themselves--they really are great, huh?
One goal of mine is to try and link up to your children's book Saturday a little more often! :)
ReplyDeletePlease consider this comment your invitation to finish up your BBAW week by adding a link to any reviews you've managed to post this week to the Saturday Review of Books at Semicolon this Saturday. Every week book bloggers from all over the blogosphere post links to their reviews and other bloggers and readers check out the reviews and find even more books to add to their wishlists.
ReplyDeleteThanks for blogging and reading and sharing.
It's so hard to write a blog and comment on blogs. I have trouble with that, too, but I just try my best.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you need to make any changes with your blog. I love it as it is!
Keep up the good work.
