Photoweavers Photo Blanket

Are you still looking for the perfect gift for that hard-to-buy-for person? Well, look no further -- I think I can help! It's a photo blanket! And it's not too late to receive one by Christmas.

Just a few days ago, I received my very own photo blanket from Photoweavers! When I ordered mine, I thought it sounded like a cute idea. But I had absolutely no idea how beautiful the blanket would turn out to be. All I had to do was select a photo and upload it to Photoweavers site. I had a few choices like backgrounds, border colors, personalization, etc., but I could "create" my blanket entirely on-line and see what it would look like. Photoweavers took care of everything else.

Since the blanket was for me, I chose a photo of my family with the Penn State Nittany Lion. It's a great picture of my crew and it ended up looking terrific on a blanket. When my husband saw the final product, he was pleasantly surprised (and believe me, he's difficult to impress!) His only issue was that I didn't use a family picture (i.e. one that included me) from our trip, but I told him that it was my special blanket!

I was also extremely impressed with the quality of the blanket. The photo is actually clearer than I was expecting. In addition, it's a pretty heavy blanket -- one that's perfect to curl up in during this cold wave. I was happy to see that the company included washing instructions for the blanket because I want to really use it. If I thought I couldn't wash it, I'm afraid that it would just sit in a closet. And believe me, this is a blanket that should be loved!

Besides afghans that are available in two different sizes, Photoweavers also makes some other great photo gifts including totes, purses, and wall hangings! Click here to Like them on Facebook. And check out their website for some fantastic savings opportunities!

I have to say that I'm extremely happy with my photo blanket. It really is the perfect gift for grandparents, parents, and other loved ones! I also am going to keep Photoweavers in mind for future baby gifts!

Thanks to Photoweavers for providing a blanket for me to review.

  2. This is the kind of thing that my parents and my in-laws would just eat up! I always do a Shutterfly calendar for them, with various pictures taken throughout the year. But this is way cooler!

  6. I posted a video review of the blanket we ordered from PhotoWeavers. This was a gift for my mom and step dad. They loved it. My video includes a segment showing side-by-side the original photo and actual blanket.
