Review: Literary Tattoos

I've discovered another great gift idea for the upcoming holiday season -- it's literary tattoos by Litographs.com. Litographs is a fantastic company with so many cool products. Basically, they "create art from books." Their products are designed to reflect the connection between a reader and his or her favorite book. What could be better for the book-lover in your life?

The idea of a temporary tattoo with a quotation from literature is perfect for me. I'm not exactly the type to get a permanent tattoo; however, there is a part of me that's drawn to displaying a book-related tattoo. Litographs sent me a few to choose and I selected this one:
Litographs has so many temporary tattoos to choose from. I was sent a few sample images and selected "Brevity is the soul of wit" from Hamlet. I liked this one, but my husband quickly pointed out to me that I probably selected the "wrong" one given my wordiness!

I can't wait to show off my "tat" at the gym this morning! Next up... Pride and Prejudice.

The tattoo was extremely simple to apply and took less than a minute. If you've ever put a temporary tattoo on a kid, it's the same idea. Place the tattoo face down on clean skin, wet thoroughly and hold in place for 30 seconds. Voila!

One thing about Litograph's tattoos is that there's something for everyone. Check out their variety of tattoos here. I absolutely love that the tattoos come in all shapes and sizes. There are phrases or images from lots of classics including Alice in Wonderland, Moby Dick, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and much more!

Here are some examples of their awesome tattoos:

The Wizard of Oz
Peter Pan
Pride and Prejudice
Litographs sells some awesome tattoos, but they also have t-shirts, posters, and totes. These products are a book-lover's dream. I honestly get overwhelmed when I look at all of their offerings -- and I don't mean that in a bad way. I am so in love with their t-shirts. They actually print a tee with the text (up to 40,000 words) from a favorite book!

Make sure you visit Litographs.com for a great selection of temporary literary tattoos. And while you're there, check out their other great gift ideas!
